The Shredder Basic is a highly capable machine for converting plastic into shreds with approximate widths of 0.25 inch to 0.5 inch. Passing the shredded material through the machine a second time converts all of the shreds to approximately 0.25-inch width.

All Shredder Basic machines are built with US-compatible power and wattage, and are shipped after rigorous testing.

To reduce the potential for damage, the motor and hopper are removed for shipping and are affixed to the floor of the shipping pallet. Attaching these two components only requires connecting bolts and 4 wires. The only required tools for attaching these components are a Phillips screwdriver, pliers, and a socket set.
