Filament Maker
The Filament Maker from Sustainable Design Studio turns recycled PET bottles into 1.75mm 3D printer filament, closing the loop between plastic waste and new prints. It is a purpose-built benchtop device for makers, classrooms, and designers who want to print with their own recycled material. At 2kg and 34w x 16d x 10h cm, it sits next to your 3D printer and pulls filament from any standard PET bottle.
It accepts PET bottles over 1L, with 2L bottles preferred and larger bottles also possible. Output reaches up to 84g of filament per hour, ready to spool and load into any 1.75mm 3D printer. The unit runs from a 12V DC mains adapter at 4A, so it draws only 48W from the wall and works in any country with a standard adapter.
