The Extruder Basic is a highly-capable machine for converting plastic shreds and pellets into shaped products. A die must be attached to the end of the extruder to provide the desired shape (e.g., filament, beams, etc.), or a mold can be attached to the end of the extruder to use the extruder to make products via injection molding.
All Extruder Basic machines are built with US-compatible power and wattage, and are shipped after rigorous testing.
To reduce the potential for damage, the motor and hopper are removed for shipping and are affixed to the floor of the shipping pallet. Attaching these two components only requires connecting bolts and 4 wires. The only required tools for attaching these components are a phillips screwdriver, pliers, and a socket set.
