We are vanPlestik, a design studio and sustainable production company. We developed large-scale 3D-printers that use plastic waste as raw material. Since 2016 we have been building these machines and developing their application in projects ranging from high end interiors to outdoor art sculptures.

We designed and built our FDM 3D-printers especially to be able to work with slightly contaminated plastic waste. In order to allow for any contaminations in the material, we use quite a thick printing line. This enables us to easily produce larger objects, but also makes it more difficult to print smaller or very detailed products. This thick printing line creates the ribbed surface on all of our products. Our printers are built using a Gantry system, and allow for both granules and flakes.
