About Sustainable Design Studio
Sustainable Design Studio is a UK based manufacturer of desktop plastic recycling machines and precision injection moulds. Founded by Rory, one of the original designers behind the Precious Plastic V4 Brick, we have been helping makers, educators, and small businesses turn waste plastic into functional products since 2020.
We are one of the largest and longest standing sellers on the Precious Plastic Bazar. Every machine and mould is designed, assembled, and tested in the UK.
We are a full time team, not a side project. That means real customer support, fast response times, and people who understand the equipment because we designed it.

Shredders Shredder Mini V2 (hand powered) and Desktop Shredder V2 (motorised). Turn bottle caps and small plastic items into consistent flakes for injection moulding. |
Injection moulders Injection Mini Machine V2 (pneumatic, one button operation) and Arbour Injection Machine V2 (no compressor required). Both work with our full Premium Moulds range. |

Filament Maker Extrudes shredded plastic waste into 1.75mm 3D printer filament. Produces usable rPET, rHDPE, and rPP filament at desktop scale. |
Premium Moulds A growing catalogue of precision machined 7075 aluminium injection moulds. Coasters, combs, sunglasses, chess sets, jewellery, and more. Custom mould design available on request. |

Tax and pricing (UK/EU customers) Due to post Brexit regulations, customers outside the UK may need to pay local import tax on delivery rather than at checkout. To offset this, our Bazar prices are reduced by 20% compared to our website. If you are a registered business, you can typically reclaim this tax. Most items we sell do not incur additional duties. |
