The Premium 3D Printed Insert Holder Mould from Sustainable Design Studio is a CNC-machined aluminium frame designed to accept custom 3D printed resin inserts. The system lets product designers run injection-moulded parts in a wide range of custom shapes without the cost or lead time of a dedicated metal mould. Available in four insert sizes from Small to XLarge, with cycle times under 2 minutes on the Injection Mini V2 or Arbour Injection Machine V2.
Machined from solid 7075 aerospace-grade aluminium for surface finish, heat dissipation, and consistent part quality, the frame is rated for 10,000+ injection cycles with proper maintenance. Compatible with PP, HDPE, LDPE, and PLA. Designed for product designers, engineers, small businesses, educational institutions, and makerspaces who want to prototype injection-moulded parts or run small custom batches without committing to bespoke tooling costs.
