A4 Sheet Injection Mould Tool

Made from 5mm laser cut steel, this injection mould tool is the latest offering as part of my mission to create tooling for useful objects, with the aim to extend the life of the plastic used as long as possible.

Over a year ago I started a mission to create new methods for Precious Plastic recyclers to create more advanced and interesting products. My vision was to create a purpose built CNC machine to allow cutting "flatpack" style plastic products, however this needs a large volume of sheets to process into CNC machined products.
Stage one was to build an injection machine capable of injecting over 300 grams of plastic in one shot. With the completion of my T2 Automatic Injection machine, this is possible! Stage two will be announced before the end of 2022, with my new T3 Automatic CNC Sheet Router.

This mould enables you to make plastic sheets as quickly as any other injection moulded product, with zero of the heat up or cooling time found in traditional sheet making machines, and the sheets come out of the mould perfect - with the edges requiring no cleanup at all.
It is available in 3mm or 5mm thick versions.

PLEASE NOTE: This mould requires a large injection capacity of >300gm please make sure your machine can handle this before purchasing.
