About Shredder Basic 3.3

During our time at Precious Plastic, we developed and open sourced the new version of the Shredder Basic 3.3 and you can find more about it and get it fully built and assembled here.

We now offer a simple upgrade for those who already have a frame, hopper, motor, and electronics. 

In previous versions of this machine, users often encountered issues with the axis breaking when processing tougher plastics. Our new shredder box solves this with a reinforced 30 mm axis as well as more reliable high quality components (bearings, hardox blades and fix blades, thicker walls) designed for improved durability and strength. It’s also fully disassemblable—featuring no welded parts—making cleaning and maintenance quick and easy. 

We have the option of including a coupling that fits with your motor axis, just send us a message before ordering if you wish to have a coupling that fit another motor axis that's not 35 mm diameter.
