Design: Precision laser-cut V3.3 framework with 2 or 3 rotating shear blades.

Blades: 14 rotating blades, each 5mm thick.

Material: Constructed from durable EN8 British Steel.

Assembly

The V3.3 features a modular design for easy assembly and disassembly, akin to a flat-pack furniture process. Essential tools for maintenance or assembly:

• M14 socket and wrench
• M10 socket and wrench
• Pair of grips or mole grips
• Adjustable spanner for M10 nuts
• 3mm hexagonal key for bearing set screws

Motor Recommendation

Motor: Single-phase 3kW motor with a 50:1 worm gear/gearbox is recommended for 56RPM shaft rotation and excellent torque (380+Nm). Alternatively, a 40:1 ratio motor provides 310Nm and 70RPM.

Coupling: Use LoveJoy L100 or L110 couplings with spider shock absorbers (couplings not included).
