Affordable V2.1 Parts Kit

The V2.1 Parts Kit comes securely packed in a box, meeting the expectations of our community. All parts are laser-cut according to the Version 2.1 Shredder specifications, but with improved tolerances for easier assembly and slide fit rotating teeth.

Additional Items Needed

To complete your shredder build, you will need the following (not included): UCFL 204 bearings, shaft, nuts, bolts, and threaded rod. These can be sourced easily from the link below, eBay, or local DIY suppliers at low prices. The recommended load-bearing torque for optimal performance is 300Nm, using a 27mm hex face turned to a 20mm shaft. Shaft dimentions above for your needs.

Assembly Tips

To assemble the shredder, you may need to lightly sand, drill, countersink for bearing positioning, and weld certain parts together.

We include FREE EXTRA shims to accommodate potential customer tolerances:

• 2 x 0.5mm Knife Spacer Shims (27.20mm hex)
• 2 x 0.5mm Fixed Knife Shims
• 2 x 0.5mm Shaft to Bearing Spacer Shims (20.20mm inner diameter)

These shims ensure a precise fit for your personalised V2.1 shredder build.
