Injection Mini V2
The Injection Mini V2 from Sustainable Design Studio is a compact, semi-automatic desktop injection moulding machine for prototyping, small-batch production, and educational projects. It uses a pneumatic piston and single-button inject cycle to force molten plastic into your mould of choice. At just 25kg and 29d x 47w x 91h cm, it fits on a standard workbench and moves easily between rooms or workspaces.
The barrel takes an 80cm³ shot (around 71g of PP) at up to 300°C with PID temperature control, and supports PLA, PETG, HDPE, ABS, PS, PP, TPU, and LDPE. An 8 bar, 24 litre workshop compressor (not included) powers the injection stroke, and the machine draws no more electricity than a kettle.
Compared with the V1, the V2 has a larger 30mm hopper that accepts whole plastic bottle caps directly without pre-shredding, a fully enclosed housing with an interlocked safety door, and a quick-release side lever for faster mould changeovers.

The maximum volume of plastic this machine can inject in a single shot.
Shot size determines the maximum size of the products you can make: smaller shot sizes are suitable for small items like keyrings or tiles, while larger shot sizes allow for bigger or thicker products.
The standard Precious Plastic Injection Machine v3 has a shot size of 150cm³.
