These boxes are 22cm x 8cm x 5.2cm with a sliding lid made from recycled plastic, the wood is from single use pallets. They are light weight, around 250g each due mainly to the nature of the wood. The pink lid is from recycling the pink plant pots and the random pattern tops are from a range of household yogurt pots, margarine pots etc. We have made our own shredder and these are all made using low cost machines. Finished with a coat of Danish oil. Usable internal space is 19.5 cm x 5.2cm x 3cm - good for pens and pencils as well as other useful stuff - and all made from recycled materials that would otherwise more than likely end up in storage/landfill/burnt.
