reSource CIC is a not-for-profit North Wales social and environmental enterprise with sites in Ruthin and Denbigh. We support connected communities through eco activities.
reSource CIC was founded in June 2020 by Janine Cusworth, a mum of two children with additional needs and a qualified and registered social worker (DipSW) and teacher (PGCE).
We welcome all volunteers and specifically welcome adults who may find it difficult to access employment, training and volunteer activities.
Using items donated to us and developing the skills of our community and creative staff we make a variety of items to sell and to raise funds to maintain the activities for people who want to participate in being both creative and sustainable in our workshops.
Our activities operate around 5 main themes;
- A reuse store where we sell donated items to help keep them out of landfill and give them a second chance to be used by someone.
- A community garden where we let volunteers who are interested in the environment and gardening grow items for the community.
- We have a plastic recycling centre where we take donated plastic and recycle it on-site into new and beautiful things.
- Workshop space which is used for the upkeep and maintenance of the site, but also used to improve your woodworking skills and make new things with your own hands.
- We have a craft cabin where we take donated craft supplies to make craft packs and decorative items for your home.
