Chair Two Halves

Two halves become one. Our first 3D printed chair. Designed and produced by vanPlestik. This chair is printed in two halves after which they are melted together.

The chair is made from PET-G, that stands for Polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified. The glycol lowers the melting temperature and prevents crystallization of the material which makes it a really easy material to work with.

Where does this PET-G come from?

Hi Paul, we buy the PET-G from a recycling company here in the Netherlands. It's mostly made out of packaging materials.
